To become a player in the upper echelons of Khoric society, new immortals must be able to prove their provenance. This proof is found in what is known as an Aspect of The Nine.
Your Aspect is a visualization of which of The Nine you carry with you. Most immortals choose to live unaware of their spiritual composition. However, to take your place in Khoric high society, an Aspect of The Nine is essential.

ASPECT OF THE
ORIGINAL NINE
Behold the pure essence of the original nine immortals. These NFTs will never be sold and will never be traded, only held in reverence and awe as they herald what is to come. They are the materials from which every subsequent Aspect of the Nine NFT will be borne. Including yours.
THE ARTIST
The Artist moves ceaselessly from medium to medium, from masterpiece to magnum opus, all in the hopes of composing a work that sparks the true memory of his eons-dead wife. He grieves not just her absence but the slow death of his grief, duplicated and warped across a thousand pieces, none of which are worthy of her remembrance. He knows only that she existed once, and that she was everything to him. He can often be found gazing over the ranks of combatants at the Arena Perilous, muttering about the colors of their eyes, the shapes of their mouths, and the sounds of their death-screams as he searches for memories of his beloved.
TWO
THE INVENTOR
Working along the borders of alchemy and physics, magic and technology, The Inventor sees himself as a rat trapped in Aseela’s maze. No other scientific problem has been worthy of his mind—he’s solved every riddle he’s ever faced, but his search for an exit from NOR remains maddeningly elusive. Evidence of this obsession is found in The Inventor’s network of Broadcast Towers and his Universal Machine: a massive workshop constantly filling with stacks of punch-cards and charts as it collects data and scans the farthest reaches of NOR for evidence of other dimensions.
THE WARRIOR
The Warrior’s most cherished memories are found in the battle-swirled dust of the Arena Perilous and in the hot gush of her opponent’s blood. While others grow complacent in their immortality, The Warrior knows that the path of valor demands constant vigilance. She believes Khora’s greatest foe will one day descend upon the City, and when it comes, only she and her warriors will be strong enough to fight. Until then, they test each other in battle, pursuing combat mastery above all else.
THE ARCHITECT
The Architect has been deprived of his greatest joy: knowing his creations will outlive him. He watches his monuments, temples, arenas, and streets return to dust, and his only solace is an eternal rebuild. The Architect’s assistants number in the thousands yet their work is never finished: the clank and rumble of construction is a constant in the City of Khora. Believing that all societal problems are caused by and can be solved through perfect design, The Architect dreams of constructing a “City of Forever” that lives in its people, rather than the other way around.
THE NATURALIST
The only one of the Nine to take on the mantle of immortality against her better judgment, The Naturalist has witnessed evolution on a grand scale many times over. She understands the necessity of death in the order of things, and considers her fellow Khorics a disruption to this order and a blight upon a world she’s sworn to protect. Her children are the plants and creatures of Khora—she’s appointed herself their preserver and their steward, and she applies her genius to weaponizing them in their war against Khorics. Just as every death in the Arena Perilous helps her devise new ways to defeat her fellow immortals, every rebirth is a reminder that her war will never end.
THE PROPHET
Buried in icons, relics, and artifacts, studying tomes and scrolls written in lost languages and sacred ciphers, The Prophet believes Khora is the best of all possible worlds. His torment is rooted in the doubts of The Nine: Why can’t they see that Aseela’s Boon is a blessing? The Prophet draws strength from his self-proclaimed understanding of The Coalescent and what it demands of Khora. From his first street-corner sermon to his millionth homily, he tirelessly spreads Aseela’s faith, convert by convert. The Prophet vows to lead all of his children into Aseela’s searing light, even dragging them in shackles and chains if need be.
THE PERFORMER
Eternity gets boring. Hedonists, revelers, connoisseurs, gluttons…all eventually experience every sensation life has to offer. That’s when a truly gifted performer turns to the alteration of the physical self, letting whim and technology distort flesh and bone as a means of unapologetic self-expression. The Performer is the most joyous of The Nine, a protean genius whose parties, parades, orgies and bacchanals are legendary in Khora. Catch a glimpse of their glorious form when you can, for it will certainly change by tomorrow…unless that’s what you expect.
THE POLITICIAN
The Politician is more than the power behind the throne–it is the throne. An advisor and confidante to no one but itself, it balances need against need to accomplish what it believes is best for Khora’s unwashed masses. Whenever there’s a conversation in Khora, no matter the topic, The Politician knows the motivations of all involved and can anticipate the outcome. Rivals may doubt its influence, or believe it’s too distracted by its obsession with perfecting a system of eternal governance, but The Politician welcomes their doubts, because it planted them.
THE MYSTIC
The Mystic views The Prophet as a sheep who’s mistaken itself for a shepherd. While The Prophet and his idiot followers waste their time trying to please Aseela, The Mystic projects herself into the farthest reaches of NOR. There, in the endless black and roaring silence, she communes with the Swallower-Of-Stars. Their conversations are hers alone to interpret, their schemings known only to The Mystic and her most devoted acolytes. All of Khora is beneath her, for she parleys with entities even more ancient and powerful than Aseela’s beloved Coalescent…and they have given her a task.

WHAT IS AN
ASPECT OF THE NINE?
It’s an NFT that serves as a membership pass that grants owners the ability to play in the economy of the NOR platform.
It’s a visualization of the owner’s immortality and proof of how closely connected they are to the original immortals of NOR—The Nine.
WHAT DOES
AN ASPECT DO?
An Aspect grants players access to an exclusive list of economic activities which may include building on land, sponsoring arena players, sponsoring teams, owning certain streaming rights, and more.
Owners of an Aspect are whitelisted for early access to economic events in NOR. This could include merchandise and land sales, game and art previews, and playing the actual games.
Each Aspect is successively removed in power from the original Nine, giving those closest to the Nine increased influence over the economic activities on the NOR platform.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITS OF THE ASPECT?
Owning an Aspect grants players an elevated status in Khora. Therefore, they are not allowed to risk their immortality in the final rounds of Khora’s bloodsports.

The first NFT drop available for whitelisting contains 729 Aspect of The Nine NFTs. Successive collections will contain more NFTs, but each will grant less influence in the land of NOR. For example, the following collection will contain 6,561 NFTs. The one after that will contain 59,049, broken into six unique collections, and so on.
HOW MUCH DOES
AN ASPECT COST?
Each Aspect of The Nine NFT from our third collection will cost 0.3 ETH. NFTs from the fourth and fifth collections will cost 0.09 ETH.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN
YOU SELL YOUR ASPECT?
Players who sell their Aspect lose access to the economic activities granted by the NFT.
HOW DOES IMMORTALITY
DIFFER WITH AN ASPECT?
While everyone can play in the NOR economy at some level, only those with an Aspect can engage the platform in a way which changes it.
For example, our upcoming Khora land sale will be accessible to anyone. However, the owners of an Aspect will get first rights to buying the land, according to their distance from The Nine. Only those with an Aspect will be able to build on the land and create economic improvements.

ASPECT AS AN ARENA PLAYER?
As an arena player who has a NOR account you have access to all games. But if you want to participate in the final rounds, you must surrender any owned Aspects.
